This site has no accounts, no forms, no analytics and no advertising. What follows is the short list of what does happen.

02What this website collects
Nothing that you provide. There are no contact forms, no sign-ups, no newsletter, no comments and no accounts. Nothing on this site asks you for information.
There is no analytics package, no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no third-party embed. Typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font provider, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to anyone else.
What does happen is what happens on any web server: our hosting provider keeps standard access logs, which normally include the IP address making the request, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user-agent string. These exist to operate and secure the service. We do not use them to build a profile of you and we do not combine them with anything else.
03If you email us
Writing to contact@forgesynapse.com means your message and address are processed by our email provider so that we can reply. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the matter it concerns, and no longer.
We do not add you to any list as a result of contacting us, because there is no list.
04Legal basis and retention
Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interests — operating and protecting the site — and are retained for the period set by the hosting provider. Correspondence is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in answering it.
05Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may request access to any personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to processing, or ask for processing to be restricted. Write to us and we will answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority.
06Links out
This site links to external services, including GitHub, LinkedIn, X and Medium. Once you follow one of those links you are on their infrastructure and subject to their policies, not ours.
